Privacy Policy
OpusVideo is operated by NexusGrowth, LLC (Delaware, USA), which is responsible for the data described here. We collect as little as we need to run OpusVideo. We don't sell personal data and we don't use advertising trackers.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, plus your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
- Prompts and videos: the brief and settings you submit, and the animation code Opus 5.5 writes. The MP4 is encoded in your browser and isn't uploaded to us.
- Credits and payments: a ledger of credits granted, used and refunded. Card details go directly to Stripe; we only receive the payment status, amount and Stripe reference IDs.
- Usage events: a few product events (page view, generation started, succeeded or failed, video played, downloaded, generated again) tied to a random per-tab session ID, used to measure whether the product works.
- Security: a salted, one-way hash of your IP address to enforce free-credit and abuse limits. We don't store raw IP addresses in our database.
Cookies
We set one sign-in session cookie (and a short-lived cache of it) so you stay logged in. We don't use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page.
Who processes data for us
- Vercel hosts the site and bot protection.
- Neon hosts our Postgres database.
- Anthropic, reached via OpenRouter, receives your prompt to generate the video.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Resend delivers sign-in emails; Google handles Google sign-in if you choose it.
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries.
Sharing and visibility
Each video has an unguessable link. Anyone with the link can watch it and see its prompt. Video pages are marked “noindex”, so search engines are asked not to list them.
Retention and your rights
We keep account, video and credit records while your account exists, and payment records as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data. We may keep minimal payment records we're legally required to hold. Email support@opusvideo.app from your account's address.
