About OpusVideo
OpusVideo is a web app that turns a short written brief into a motion-graphics video. Claude Opus 5.5, Anthropic's model, designs the video and writes it as animation code; your browser then renders that code frame by frame and encodes a silent 1080p MP4 you can download.
How it works
- Brief. You describe the video and pick a type (motion graphics, product launch or explainer), an aspect ratio (16:9, 9:16 or 1:1) and a length (10, 15 or 20 seconds).
- Opus 5.5 plans and codes. The model storyboards the beats, chooses a palette and type, and writes a Canvas 2D composition. This usually takes 1.5–3.5 minutes.
- In-browser check. The code runs in a sandboxed iframe with no network access. Frames are sampled for errors, clipped text and blank scenes, and the model gets one chance to fix problems.
- Render and download. Your browser encodes an H.264 MP4 with WebCodecs. The MP4 is created on your device and isn't uploaded to us.
What it's good for
- Motion graphics and kinetic typography: title sequences, logo stings, social loops.
- Product launch and changelog videos with drawn UI cards and charts.
- Explainers that build one idea step by step with counters, bars, timelines and diagrams.
Because text is drawn as real type, spelling, brand colours and layout come out exactly as written.
What it isn't for
- Photorealistic footage, real people or faces, lip-sync or live action — diffusion video models do that.
- Sound: videos are silent. Add music in your editor or social app.
- Long videos: each video is 10–20 seconds.
You can see real, unedited outputs on the home page. Your first video is free with a new account; plans and packs are listed on the pricing page.
